The M-1938 Legging - An Introduction

Introduction--

Along with the M1 helmet and rifle, the M1938 dismounted legging was one of the icons of the WWII U.S. GI. This item is well-known by all reenactors, and was infamous among the troops as being awkward to wear, slow to don, and even slower to take off if one had a rock in his boot.
